...Wow. Julie Kagawa never fails to deliver! After the ending of The Eternity Cure, the wait for the final book in the Blood of Eden trilogy seemed endless. And now, after devouring it in a day, I can't believe it's over!

Picking up where the last book left off...well, I don't want to spoil it. But Allison was in a pretty dark place at the end of the second book, and here, we really see her struggle against her inner "monster", her vampire side, as she hunts down the deadly, psychopathic vampire Sarren. Julie Kagawa delivers yet another page-turning read with some seriously intense action sequences! Jackal, the antihero, provides humourous moments to balance out the darkness. The suspense and action are at an all-time high, and the unpredictable storyline races along through terrifying twists and turns. This was one gripping read!

This is a fantastic book with a very satisfying ending to the series. I have read every one of Julie Kagawa's books and I've loved all of them (which is a rarity for me!) - if you're looking for stellar young adult fiction, you can't go wrong with this!
